Dr. Stephanie D. Crawford, DNP APRN, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Owner
Dr. Stephanie Crawford is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 20 years of nursing experience and 14 as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She is the owner of AIM, and believes strongly in quality of life. She is skilled in chronic disease management, telehealth, palliative/hospice care. She has served on several health and professional nursing boards, and remains active with those organizations. She is dual certified as and Adult Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse. Her special interest lies in management of diabetes. While working in a traditional office setting, an opportunity presented for Dr. Crawford to work on a jobsite and provide primary care services to people working on pipeline. These individuals traveled from all over the country for this job, which lasted several months. Many never saw a primary care provider due to the limited amount of time they were back home between jobs - working twelve hours a day, six days a week. Several of the workers had never been screened for chronic illnesses, such as blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, or diabetes, and most were high risk. This started the idea for bringing chronic illness managment to the people, to where they are, and improve overall health.
